Donald & Summer is a vegan bakery in Korea whose name weaves together personal history with the owner’s individual taste. “Donald” revives the name of a bakery once run by the owner’s father, while “Summer” reflects the owner’s love for the season. From the outset, the vision was to blend retro nostalgia with a modern sensibility—creating an identity that feels both timeless and contemporary.

The logo captures this duality in a single, cohesive mark. Its rounded form recalls both the shape of bread and the softness of clouds, evoking a gentle retro atmosphere without relying on overt symbolism. To further echo the visual language of classic bakeries, the shop name is arranged vertically, adding a subtle layer of vintage typography. The resulting identity feels playful yet intentional—embracing the warmth of personal memory while positioning Donald & Summer as a modern vegan bakery with a distinctive and memorable character.
